Consumer preferences, growth and geographical shifts in population, increasing incomes, market restructuring, quality of schools, and location of affordable housing are just a few that play a critical role. Despite the diversity of the cities, the contributors find remarkable similarities in the problems they face. Contributors include a team of researchers from Arizona State University, Peter Dreier (Occidental College), Robert E. Urban sprawl and spatial inequality are among the common challenges attributable to market forces and public policies. Despite the many similarities, the book finds important differences in the extent of the problems and recommends numerous policies for remedying them. Gleeson (Northern Illinois University), Joseph Gyourko (University of Pennsylvania), PascalAs always in her books there are obstacles to overcome, emotions to be explored and resolved. For me the best Gor books were those that took the tradition of the Edgar Rice Burroughs Mars books with John Carter and upped the ante on the action. Clearly, it would be best if one were to use the larger biography as you work through his life but in most small group settings people will not take that amount of time each week that it would take to read the entire biographical work. Henry Clay Frick even had his own in-house organist! The book is not a comprehensive compilation of the hundreds of residence pipe organs built from the late 1800s into the 1930s, but it is a representative selection of them with engaging archival black-and-white photographs of the over-the-top interiors (and exteriors) of the owners' mansions, automobiles, and fashions. That is why "Assassin of Gor" is the best of the lot and why Norman never really tried to do anything this monumental ever again.
