He drops some gems in "Crack Volume 2" instead of simply providing an entertaining tale, which is sorely lacking in some of today's books. This is such a wonderful book, full of warmth and humor. The book is a paean to that land of depraved innocence we all once inhabited-- a realm of (mostly) boys, pre-to-post-pubescent dorks looking for a thrill. With three meals and three snacks a day of slowly digested food I am not hungry. You won't read anything like it! It's written so brilliantly, that you will laugh, cry and appreciate even more the power of perseverance and strength of relationships and family. If I were in a writer's group with Dawn, I might mention a few minor things, but they are truly nit picky.
