This is from the Usborne publisher, part of their Flap Book See Incised Science Series. There is an extensive test with 140 questions, followed by explanations for each correct answer. It became obvious fairly early on that that there was much more to it than Adobe's manual described, so I started searching for a better book.Blatner and Fraser's book is it. The book had good ideas. This says something on an intensely fashionable "meta" level about something or other involving mind, language and Being, but, existential self-referentiality being as ineffable as the ineffability of Being itself, I'll have to be excused from articulating it.ANYway, what the heck -- why not triangulate on these fascinating aspects of literary form? Compare authors with each other, compare them with their respective parodies to sharpen your eye and ear, compare parodies with each other (and do a little theoretical reading on the subject, perhaps) to gain a sense of the stylistic (meta-stylistic?

After studying art at Copenhagen, Paris and Rome, she married her cousin, Baron Bror Blixen-Finecke, in 1914. Out of Africa (1937) is an autobiographical account of the years she spent in Kenya. Baroness Blixen died in Rungsted in 1962. Together they went to Kenya to manage a coffee plantation. All of these books are published by Penguin. Although she had written occasional contributions to Danish periodicals since 1905 (under the nom de plume of Osceola), her real début took place in 1934 with the publication of Seven Gothic Tales, written in English under her pen-name.
